Page limitation

For each printer a page limit can be set. With this the administrator can set that for example on a small 20 pages/minute printer, only very small jobs could be printed.

Background:
Larger print batches can mostly be printed more economically on a high-performance printer like the Kodak Digimaster 9110.

For each printer a page limit can be given.

The page limit is counted from the number of copies and the actual number of pages in the document.
If you don't want to set up a limit for the printer you enter the value "0“ into the field of the page limit. This is the default set up after the installation.
If a JobTicket user sends a printing order which goes beyond the page limit, he will receive a warning message..

In the example a limitation of 20 pages was configured for the printer Infotec 4182 MF. A JobTicket user wants to print a job with 56 pages.
The user has to choose a different printer or he has to decrease the copies.

Note:
In this example, the administrator has configured the page limitation in this way, that a print out to the selected printer is not possible if the page limit was exceeded.
It is also possible to configure the page limitation that a warn message appears, but the print out to this printer is also possible.
