Job splitting

In InfoStream a job splitting with more than 1 identical printer can be activated.
This is possible with minimum two and maximum ten printers.
Example :
You have 3 identical Infotec 4652 mf printers in the print department.Each printer can print 65 pages / minute.
You want to distribute a printing job with a number of 100 copies on all 3 printers. If the Job Splitting is activated automatically 33 (one 34) copies are shared out on each printer.
Therefore you reach a printing result of 195 pages / minute.
The setup in InfoStream Control is easy.
For each printing system a holding pattern will be installed. In the InfoStream Control you just need to activate the required printer for the order distribution.
As soon as a printing order with a number of copies higher than 1 shall be printed on this printer, a new dialogue window opens.
In the example we chose the number of copies 100. The order distribution shares out the printing job regularly on all of the printers. This is chosen automatically , but the JobSplitting is very flexible and can also be operated manually.
So you can give up a certain printer and choose the number of copies for each printer by yourself.
In the example only two of three printing systems were chosen. Now each printer print 50 sets.
It is also possible to manage the number of copies by hand. This is good when one printer has low paper in the trays.
