Decentralized printing
Usually one or more printers in the print department are operated with the PrintManager. With this a printing job is produced with the JobTicket , sent to the printing list of the PrintManager and there it is sent with the required order settings to the relevant printer by an employee.
Regularly the PrintManager is operated manually. That means that each printing job must be clicked on and dispatched.
With InfoStream it is possible to handle also for decentralized printers like floor printers or workplace printers with the JobTicket. Thereby manual access in the PrintManager is no longer necessary.
If a printer has been configured for decentral printing the printing job will be automatically sent to this printer and will be printed. The printing job will not be stored in the printing
list of the PrintManager.
The registration of the printing job will be done including all details of the user and the settings.
In InfoStream Control configuration, each type of printer can be defined as a single or decentralized printer.
In the JobTicket the user chooses this printer. He does his job settings as usual and sends the printing order.
The printing job does not appear in the printing list of the PrintManager ; but it will be printed straight away on this printer.
