PDF printing
Today, certain printer models can not only handle PCL- and PostScript files, but also Pdf files.
An advantage of PDF's is mostly the high printing and processing speed.
Additionally with PDF's, the danger of word-wraps happening is very low.
InfoStream 2000 Server can separate between PDF printing files and User files. A PDF user file is always sent to the document list of the PrintManager. Here the user can view the PDF file and change it.
A PDF print file is sent to the printing list. Here the file can be supplied with the necessary printing options and be sent directly to the printer.
Translation into PostScript doesn't happen.
