Job-Statusview
Numerous JobTickets can be connected to the InfoStream 2000 Server. During the daily course quite a lot of print files and documents can be sent.
The final user does not always know the opening times of their print room area or if there are any employees there.
The consequence is that quite, often a variety of phone calls and questions arise as to how their print job is doing.
With the status view, Danka brought available information to the JobTicket user.
With the symbol status you can ask for the printing status of your own printing jobs over the network. A view of foreign printing orders is not possible.
This makes daily use much easier on the side of the user as well as on the PrintManager operator's side.
According to the configuration of the PrintManager the appearance of the window can be different.
The colours of the symbols or of the text show the actual status of the print files.
With the status window you can also view document files. Furthermore the user now also sees incorrect printing orders, marked by a red cross.
With the switch Delete a printing job which has been sent by mistake or which is incorrect can be deleted from the printing list again.
If you delete a printing job it is recommended to inform your operator in the print room.
This switch can under circumstances not be available to you. This depends on the configuration of the PrintManager. The administrator can suppress the deleting of a file by the final user.
