Templates Modul

InfoStream’s template function combines digital jobs with digital templates, underlying customisable digital forms, letterheads and headings directly on to a job via the printer hardware. The template function is a simple tool that not only helps to deliver consistently styled documents but also reduces network bottlenecks created by large template-based files.
A form or template is a document which is stored on a printer and if needed called up by other printing jobs.

A form can be a company logo, a watermark, a header page or any other document.
It is very easy to handle forms by InfoStream. Just save it as an EPS file, select it and send the form to printer.

An advantage of forms is that the RIP and printing process is faster and the print documents are smaller. Same printers supply the loading of PostScript forms or watermarks. For this is mostly required that a hard disk is installed in the printer , on which the forms ( EPS files ) can be down loaded.
The forms themselves must be saved as so-called "EPS“ files. By an "EPS“ file we mean an integrated, single sided PostScript file .

With the InfoStream Control you can send a PostScript print document as a form which is stored on the printer.
You chose the printer on which you want to store that forms.
Then you store the form on the printer with the button“ send “:
A confirmation announcement will appear.

Now the forms can be used by the JobTicket users.
First the actual printing job on which the form shall be printed is chosen.

All the sent forms can be chosen on the JobTicket interface.

User:

The printing job can be configured so that the form will be printed on each or on a certain page of the print document.
