Overview

PrintManager Hauptfunktionen

The PrintManager is the main program of the InfoStream software.

The task of the PrintManager is the sending of the print files to the installed printers, controlling the print inbox directory and the colour marking of the printing jobs.
Those are shown in different colours according to the actual status like printed, proof print, print or proof print o.k. and new print files.

The operator in the central reproduction department controls all printing orders manually and is responsible for archiving or deleting after the printing. The PrintManager can also send the incoming files to the printers which are chosen in the JobTicket. (Printing in the background)

A clear interface makes the operation easier. The program can be operated by the menu board as well as by symbols.

The printing orders can be shown according to all features such as, date, printer, telephone, name, department, file size and date required.
Print files can be deleted or archived for later use.
On your command the printing options which are set for each printing order can be changed. The information about the content of the print files cannot be changed with the PrintManager.

For a monthly cost center bill, the PrintManager stores all user defined files of the printing orders.
With each printing order, the user can send order information and user news. This information can be seen straight away by the administrator or by the user of the PrintManager.

If you want to offer additional services to your clients and JobTicket users, you can define further finishing options in the PrintManager.

You can freely define up to 6 different finishing fields and 6 more fields for further finishing options. For each option ,as many entries as you want can be defined.

Forms, header pages or company logos, saved as EPS files, can be sent by the PrintManager to the printers and there stored.

Beyond that there is a multitude of further functions available. More information you can find in the area Details.
